About Me

Belinda Hermann (Qualified Career Practitioner)

I am a qualified Career Practitioner and professional member of the Career Development Association of Australia (CDAA).

As a result of progress, technology and automation, the world of work is changing and will continue to change.  For many, it is a scary prospect to hear that “40% of current Australian jobs have a moderate to high likelihood of disappearing in the next 10 to 15 years” (CEDA).  The simple fact is that we can no longer think of career planning as a one-off process leading to a “job for life”.  We need to walk our own path while remaining flexible and open to new experiences.

My own career journey over the last 24 years has included senior roles across recruitment, education, human resources, finance, marketing and commerce.  This provided me with the opportunity to engage with people at all levels in our community.  Talking to students, parents, employees, employers, experienced professionals, politicians, industry representatives and many others highlighted to me the need for practical, hands-on career planning advice tailored to individual needs no matter your career stage.

I believe that career planning is a skill that we will use time and again across our working life and my objective is to support you with achieving your career goals now and provide you with tools that you can continue to use as you move through different career (and life) stages.
